Kulshan Middle School

Kulshan Middle School is a small middle school located in the eastern portion of Bellingham, Washington. It is practically right across the street from the beautiful Whatcom Falls Park, where picnics and river swimming are a must. They are situated conveniently at 1250 Kenoyer Street, in the Whatcom Falls neighborhood. There were a total of 642 students in 2008. The school is named after the Lummi Nation name for Mt. Baker, which is “Komo Kulshan.” It was built in the fall of 1994. Kulshan Middle School has numerous activities, music, and community-service-based club, and include such gems as the Writer’s Club, Boys and Girls Club Mentor Program, Random Acts of Kindness, Yearbook, and the Math Olympiad Club.
